Why won’t my LED bulbs dim all the way down?

Why won’t my LED bulbs dim all the way down? I hear this complaint quite often.  Dimmable LED bulbs on a standard dimmer may not dim all the way down.  They tend to dim to a point, then stop dimming anymore, or just go out.

What is the Fix?

There are special LED dimmers on the market know that are specifically made to handle newer types of lightbulbs like LED bulbs.  These dimmers allow you to dim the LED bulb all the way like you were able to do with the older incandescent bulbs.
